Swapping out an old timber structure for Deceuninck uPVC windows and doors

The Solanki family had a conservatory/extension that was built from timber windows and doors, but it had begun to look a bit tired and dated as the years had gone by. Due to the age of the materials, it also suffered from extreme temperatures throughout the year.

However, we gave the conservatory structure a complete revamp with energy-efficient uPVC windows and doors, which came in a stunning Anthracite Grey finish. This new structure was now much easier on the eye but still blended in with the Solanki’s home, whilst any issues with extreme temperatures were now eradicated for good.

Specifically, we fitted two sets of uPVC French doors, a classic solution that adds timeless charm to any property. These ensured the Solanki family could move between the home and garden with ease and due to their largely glazed designs, helped to blur the lines between the two areas also.

Finished in a stunning Anthracite Grey finish for a seamless blend with the uPVC windows and doors, the LivinRoof’s exceptional thermal performance and plastered internal ceiling means that the Solanki’s aims of creating a family living space that could be enjoyed right the year round were also realised.
